What was the highlight of Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya - Heaven Adults Only - All Inclusive
Mediocre
Most of the staff were really nice, specially from the restaurants, but the pool service and poolside bars/snacks are not as good as they used to be (except for the bartenders).
As a couple who have stayed here before on birthdays and even got married here, the experience fell short this time. The adults only section got severely reduced and most of the sitting area around the pool is now for their Legendary members, and while the pool is super pretty, I think that the adults only kind of travelers got crammed into a much smaller space that only Legendary members can be really comfortable in. Room was still pretty but definitely a lot more worn down and not as clean as we were used to, and also, even though since we booked and contacted the staff before our stay, requesting birthday amenities, even while mentioning it at check in and to several staff members who promised to make sure we got them, we got nothing and that was highly disappointing. The only people who did mention something about it was the Awaken your senses staff, who btw did an amazing job. We are leaving with mixed emotions since we loved this hotel and kept coming back to it and this time, we found ourselves unable to not compare the quality of service here in relation to other hotels we have been at that gave us a much more elevated experience for the same price we paid here, so with all the pain in our hearts, I think we will not be coming back for a good while.

Poor
I actually fell and ended up breaking my tailbone. I had to go to the doctors which you had at the hard rock hotel, and they charged me. I was in pain for the next two days I got home to the United States, went and took an x-ray and Shernoff I had broken my tailbone and I’m out $500 for slipping on one of your cement steps

overall an amazing stay
the faro for adult only was amazing. lots of choices. great view. never over crowded, waitresses were exceptional (elisabeth) knew our order by heart by the third day. very nice. we went back every morning and lunch. our room was very spacious, always cleaned well. good dinner options. lots of activities on site. we went here for a wedding and it was beautiful. the bartender in heaven and the bar next to umo were beyond amazing. the girl who bardended at umo made delicious and beautiful drinks. eduardo in heaven was so friendsly and knew drinks by heart. shout out to everyone. amazing staff and good food and drinks. lots of wild moneys between 530-630 between buildings 1-2 in the back
honestly just the beaches. they were well maintained, cleaned every day. lots of beautiful fish to swim with but the beaches were just too small. i know the tides in mexico are strong but more swimming for bigger beach areas would be nicer

They need to prepare better and rethink their strategy especially for the Heaven side
the lobby was beautiful
the rooms need to be upkept better. Not really giving what the photos on the internet show. Also their adult only section was not a true adult only.. they did not have a DJ at the adult pool which did not cater to a diverse group with the music . having to share a lobby with families was not the best experience.. Children running everywhere cause the parents didn’t know how to tell them to sit down . also not many activities like most resorts or things to do at night to cater to adults only . Just not the best
